Understand the cut
A die cut sticker is typically cut through both the face material and its backing, following the finished outline. A kiss cut typically cuts the sticker face while leaving the backing intact. Confirm the supplier's terminology and proposed construction before approving artwork.
The same drawing can therefore arrive with different handling and presentation. A shaped backing may feel right for a giveaway, while a larger backing can leave room to lift the sticker and carry extra printed information.
Consider how people will use it
Think through packing, distributing and peeling the stickers. A single loose piece, several designs on a sheet and labels on a roll are different formats, even when the artwork is identical.
Ask for the cut path, border and spacing requirements before finalizing the file. Very narrow points, tiny detached shapes or intricate edges may need adjustment during production review.
Count the correct unit
For a piece family, enter the number of individual stickers. For sticker sheets, enter complete sheets and specify the overall sheet dimensions. The minimum is 1,000 per design and manufacturing specification. Keep the desired format explicit so the quantity is interpreted correctly.
