Work with the available area
Measure the part of the bumper where the sticker will go and note any strong curve, recess or texture. Keep the graphic clear of registration plates, lights, sensors and safety information. A paper outline can help check scale before artwork is finalized.
Choose a message that remains readable at the intended size. Allow room for the supplier to confirm the border, cut line and spacing around fine details.
Ask for evidence about the surface
Painted, unpainted and textured bumper surfaces can require different application decisions. Include the surface finish, expected weather exposure, washing routine and intended duration of use in the brief.
Do not assume that a vinyl label is suitable for every vehicle surface or can be removed without affecting it. Ask for the proposed construction, application instructions and any relevant test evidence. A material concept image is not a performance result.
Confirm the production details
State the artwork name, finished dimensions and number of pieces. Each design and manufacturing specification starts at 1,000. Review a representative sample and the actual quote before relying on a delivery date, durability claim or installation method.
